Site-Specific Cyanotype Workshop (Group)

This two-hour introduction to the cyanotype process is held at the outdoor creekside “Canie Creek Community College”— a geodesic dome situated in an urban wooded environment in West Asheville. This workshop walks you through the basics of cyanotype from coating your paper, finding inspiration in nature, and exposing & processing your prints. All materials are provided and you’ll leave with a stack of prints, a folder & frame, and instructions for continuing the process on your own. This workshop is suitable for ages 5+. Two participants minimum, six participants max—make sure the quantity matches the number of participants you’re booking for. Workshops generally begin at 10AM and wrap up by noon. Book up to 6 months in advance, but please give at least 24 hours notice.
