This BRBP original celebrates the Roland Juno-60, a legendary 61-key, six-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer produced from 1982 to 1984. The Roland Juno-60 was used on iconic 1980s pop hits including "Take On Me" by a-ha, "Time After Time" by Cyndi Lauper, and "A Different Corner" by George Michael.
The “stereo” schematic presents two technical drawings (from the Juno 60 repair manual) at once—one in red and the other in blue. After the red schematic is printed using a pigment ink printer, the blue schematic is added using the cyanotype process. The result is a maximalist celebration of all the details we rarely see on electronic instruments. Each print is hand-coated and printed on archival watercolor paper and measures 11” x 14”.
